Anambra’s Missing Years: Why Is Soludo Still Blaming Peter Obi?

“Anambra’s Missing Years: Why Is Soludo Still Blaming Peter Obi?”

This thing has been bothering me for a while…

Please, I’m asking seriously — did Anambra have a governor between Peter Obi and Charles Soludo? Because it’s getting really confusing.

Peter Obi left office in 2014, yet every time Governor Soludo talks, it’s like Obi just stepped down last week. From blame to comparisons — it’s always Peter Obi this, Peter Obi that. But what about the person who actually handed power over to Soludo in 2022?

Why is no one talking about that 8-year stretch? Why is it that the person who directly governed before Soludo seems completely invisible in all his speeches and actions? Did Anambra not have a governor during those years? Or has that part of our history suddenly become too uncomfortable to mention?

Why is Soludo still blaming or referring someone who left office in 2014, instead of addressing the one who left just before he came in?

Something doesn’t add up — and it’s time we talked about it.
