Beware of Counterfeit Products in Nigeria
The prevalence of kidney problems in Nigeria can largely be attributed to the consumption of counterfeit products. It is truly disheartening. I strongly urge you to exercise caution when it comes to what you consume, especially avoiding cheap items as they are often fake. Prior to using any product, it is wise to conduct some checks, such as verifying the NAFDAC numbers or utilizing other verification methods. Kidney problems have become rampant in Nigeria, and the situation is worse than ever before.
Late Dora Akunyili, the former head of NAFDAC, bravely fought against counterfeit drugs and products. She stood up against major corporations and cartels, ultimately sacrificing her life for the betterment of Nigeria. Her legacy lives on in our hearts, but we are in need of someone to carry on her mission against the widespread distribution of fake products in Nigeria. Who will step up and save us?
Dear Dora Akunyili, since your departure, no one has been able to fill your shoes. No one has come close to accomplishing what you did. As a result, the business of damaging peopleโs lives with counterfeit products is thriving. Where do we go from here? We are desperately in need of another savior to put an end to this menace.
