AFCON: Algerian influencer deported for calling Côte D’Ivoire a ‘poor’ country
Algerian Influencer, Sofia Benlemmane has been deported from Cote d’Ivoire, after ridiculing the country during 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Benlemmane was arrested, deported and banned from the Ivory Coast for life, following the widespread video that depicted the country in negative light.
She said Ivorians live in poverty compared to the pre historic era.
She also said Algeria is too developed to be in Africa and that it should be in Spain.
