Brass LGA Agog As PDP Begins Its Campaign Ahead Of April 6th Election.

Yesterday, the Brass LGA Campaign Council kick started her electioneering campaign rally in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State with a rousing welcome.

It was indeed a sign of total acceptance, victory and endorsement, as the campaign train led by the DG, Hon. (Barr.) Esau Andrew, was victoriously received by the Chiefs, Elders, Youths, Women and teaming supporters of the various communities in the ten wards of the Local Government.

While speaking at the campaign, Barr. Esau thanked the good people of Brass Local Government Area for always standing firm during, before and after elections.

He further appealed to the electorate to massively vote for all the PDP Candidates in the forthcoming April 6th election.

In his goodwill speech, the PDP Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Febo Lucky acknowledged everyone present at the campaign.

“It is my pleasure to identify and work with the leadership of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

Very honourably, I thank our amiable Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, his Deputy, His Excellency Senator Lawrence Ewrudjakpo and the Rt Honourable (High Chief) Abraham Ingobere, Speaker of Bayelsa State House of Assembly for creating the enabling environment for me as the Chairmanship candidate, and all the councillorship aspirants of the PDP for Brass Local Government Area.

Similarly, we appreciate the untiring efforts of the party leaders, elders, the electorate and all those who supported in every way possible to present us as the next Chairman and Councillors, respectively, to pilot the affairs of Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

Honestly, we promise you that our Team shall be very humble, reliable, approachable and committed to serve the interest of our party and our beloved Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

Thereupon, by the special Grace of God, when we have been given the mandate and subsequently sworn in, we will interface with all relevant Stakeholders, such as the Traditional Rulers, Chiefs, Women Leaders and Youth Leadership of all communities in the LGA to create necessary bye laws and policies, for the unhindered development of Brass Local Government Area.

More so, you all know well that our success lies on your unflinching support; here and now, during and after the elections.

And on our part, my Councillors and I shall not disappoint you or abuse the trust you bestow upon us.

So, I beckon everyone to VOTE PDP on the ELECTION DAY, April 6, 2024.

In conclusion, I wish to appreciate you all for your time and thank you for attending this campaign occasion.

God bless you all, with journey mercies as you return to your various communities.

Highlight of the campaign was the official presentation of victory flags to the Ten ward councilors respectively and receiving of decamping members from the main opposition party, APC; by the Brass LGA PDP chairman, Hon. Baratuapre Daniel in Twon Brass, the headquarters of the local government area.

The rancour free electioneering campaign was well attended by the Chairman, Brass Local Government Area, Hon. Alabo Hanson-Karika, Party Stalwarts, Former State Assembly Members, Former Councilors, Party faithfuls, amongst others.
