Court has sentenced Igbo popular DJ, Iwuagwu Ebere, also known as DJ Commissioner, DJ Wise to Kirikiri prison.
Police arrested the 29-year-old DJ on charges of assaulting police officers, obstructing arrest, and interfering with police officers carrying out their duties. She was sentenced to 3 weeks in prison, and will remain there until May 8, 2024.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police, who provided the information, added that her bouncers are also detained in Ikoyi prison for aiding and abetting.
Regarding the DJ switch rumour, it’s false. DJ switch of the ENDSARS movement is not arrested.
