Delta Ambush: Six Slain Policemen Get Posthumous Awards
Six policemen who were killed in Ughelli, Delta State, in March were posthumously honoured at an award and commendation ceremony held in Abuja on Monday.
The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, disclosed this in a post on his X handle on Tuesday.
Adejobi also revealed that the families of the fallen officers were paid their entitlements and that they received donations from various government officials at the event.
PUNCH reported in March that the Nigeria Police Force confirmed the deaths of six officers and six others while investigating the disappearance of three of their colleagues in Delta State.
