Difference between Has and Have

“Has and have” are some of the most frequently used verbs in English. Most of us get confused when using has and have in a sentence.

In English, we have various auxiliary verbs such as be, do, have, may, might, can, could, must, ought to, etc. “To have” is an irregular verb that has three forms: has, have, and had. “Has and have” are used in the present tense, while “had” is used in the past tense. The word “have” is used both as a main verb and an auxiliary verb in the present tense. It is used with first-, second-, and third-person plural subjects like “we, you, and they” and first- and second-person singular subjects like “I and you.”

I have to leave tomorrow.

I hope you have a great time here.
