Gabon military leader announces inclusive national dialogue set for April
Gabon’s transitional President General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema signed a decree, announcing that the country is going to hold an inclusive national dialogue on April 2-30.
The dialogue aims to determine the duration of the transition and to propose the political, economic, and social organization of the nation after the transition.
According to an initial timeline published by the ruling government, the transition will last for 24 months and end in August 2025 with free, credible, and fair elections
