The fire which occurred around 2am on Tuesday destroyed almost all shops around Adeseun/PIvotal ICT Centre which include two Palm Kernel processing shops, photo shop, furniture shop among others.
correspondent in Ogbomoso, Aderemi Akanmu, who visited the scene reports that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, as victims were seen counting their loses.
It was gathered that residents and other sympathizers assisted to put out the fire by fetching water from distant wells and boreholes because there was no quick response from the men of the Fire Fighter Services.
Speaking, Waliyat Mutiu and Opeyemi Adewale appealed to local, state and federal governments alongside other philanthropists to come to their aid over the ugly incident, as all their goods had been destroyed by fire.
They added that the incident will definitely affect their livelihoods because all goods lost to the inferno were their only means of income.
