January 1996 – The Imia Crisis
Treason, cowardice, incompetence. The Greek Government once again does not stand up for the nation’s rights in its own territory, its own waters, for its own islands in the Aegean, or for its own people.
As a result 3 Greek officers are killed during the crisis – Ektoras Gialopsos, Christodoulos Karathanasis, Panagiotis Vlachakos.
