Jerry Amilo apologies for posting Junior Pope’s dead body online.
He made this public apology on his Facebook page and Instagram after facing criticism for displaying Junior Pope’s deceased body stuffed with cotton wool on social media. He explained that he didn’t intend harm; rather, he wanted to clear up confusion as many were asking if Junior Pope was alive. He clarified that he wouldn’t use a tragic event for attention, recounting how he rushed to Asaba and stayed at the hospital until late at night. Despite removing the post due to fan criticism, he was hurt by friends dragging him online for allegedly exploiting the situation for profit. He expressed deep regret to anyone offended by his post and asked for forgiveness.
