Meet Adeola Ogunmola

Meet Adeola Ogunmola, Nigerian-born Commercial Pilot and the First Nigerian Woman to Fly with Qatar Airways

Adeola Ogunmola hails from Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria, and is a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso.

She began her aviation career by obtaining her Commercial Pilot Licence from Sunrise Aviation in Ormond Beach, Florida, in 2011.

In 2013, Adeola joined Medview operations in Abuja, where she served as a First Officer on the Boeing 737 classic before being upgraded to the Boeing 767-300ER.

In October 2018, she made history by joining Qatar Airways and becoming the first Nigerian woman to fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
