The Dutch woman who told the police that she was heading to the Nigerian capital city, Abuja was surprised when the personnel were unwilling to let her go unless she gave them money.

“Wetin you bring come? Give me something. Wetin you wan give me? Give me money,” the two policemen were heard chorusing their demands to the tourist.

“The sad reality is, those recruited into the NPF are sourced from the Nigerian Population, not any other country. This means there is something very wrong with our society in general,” an X user, Akinwale commented on the incident.

“The first question that comes to mind is how these bunch made it through police college.

The police command wrote: “The viral video portraying the regrettable misconduct of certain along Moniya-Iseyin road has been accessed. All those involved have been apprehended for immediate disciplinary actions. Supervision will be increased.”
