Six units were built in 2007, each costing approximately ₦700 million.

Each station is designed to hold up to 300,000 liters of petrol and diesel.

The stations are engineered to refuel vessels including boats, yachts, and jet skis, as well as land vehicles docked nearby.

Purpose and Impact:

Developed to address fuel scarcity in areas difficult to reach via roads.

The floating stations provide a reliable and sustainable fuel supply to remote communities.

They have been strategically deployed in Rivers, Delta, and Ondo States, improving local economies and transportation efficiency.
