NYESOM WIKE’S STRONG ALLY, HANNY WOKO, DECLARES SUPPORT FOR GOV. FUBARA.
Good morning dear esteemed PDP Faithfuls of our great Ward 17 Rumuolumeni Kingdom.
I come with open mind to address you today concerning the lingering problem between our amiable Governor, Sir Siminalaye Fubara GSSRS, and the FCT Minister, Chief Barr Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike CON, GSSRS.
Having led the Ward for over two decades now without any fault or failure, I have sacrificed so much for the growth and betterment of the Ward and therefore will offer my sincere advice to members as it affects the aforementioned problem between the incumbent Governor and his predecessor without fear nor favour.
The beauty of democracy and politics is the freedom of choice, therefore, I Chief Barr Hanny Woko DSSRS, JP, today the 17th of March 2024 have decided with those who believe in me to give our support to Sir Siminalaye Fubara, the Governor of Rivers state. We will do everything within the law to make sure he succeeds as the Governor of Rivers state, because we worked and voted for him during the PDP primary election and the general election which he won across all the Wards and LGAs in the state.
It’s imperative to note that the problem is purely an internal affairs of the PDP. We are all still members of the PDP, you may align with whoever suits you without bitterness and acrimony, the sky is big enough for every bird to fly without collision. However we shall continue to pray to God Almighty to bring peace to the once peaceful PDP family, believing in the Christian doctrine that the hearts of kings are in the hands of God Almighty. While expressing your thoughts, feelings and emotions, kindly be civil and decorous.
I wish you all the best of everything life offers under the big umbrella of PDP.
Sincerely Yours,
Chief Hanny Woko Esq.
