OBIO-AKPO ward 5 reaffirms support for FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Ward 5, Elelenwo in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, has reaffirmed their unalloyed support to the FCT Minister Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike CON GSSRS, Life Bencher and their Son, Rt. Hon. O. K. Chinda DSSRS, the Minority leader of Federal House of Representatives.

Speaking during the meeting, the ward chairman Hon. ThankGod Bekee, said that the People of Elelenwo will continue to appreciate the FCT Minister for all the good works he did for the people of Elelenwo.

He added that the party in Ward 5 will continue to be loyal to the minister and stand with him and their son Rt Hon O. K Chinda, the minority leader of Federal House of Representatives.

The leaders of the Ward Chief Hon. Princewill Igwueze Wodi Jp, the Chief Protocol Officer to Obio/Akpor LGA Chairman, Hon. Buduziri Amadi both thanked the people for turning out en masse for the despite the short notice for the meeting.

They noted that this is the first Ward meeting the party is holding since after last year general election that brought in the Governor of the State, Senators, Rep and Assembly members.

Speaking further; the leaders appealed to the people to continue to remain steadfast and keep praying for FCT minister, minority leader of Federal House of Rep, the Speaker of Rivers State house of Assembly and the chairman of Obio Akpor Local Government Area.

They called on the people to turn out in their numbers to grace the election/appeal court victory Thanksgiving Service of the Minority leader of Federal House of Representatives, Rt Hon O. K Chinda which is coming up on the 24th of March, 2024.
