PRESS RELEASE
PRESIDENT TINUBU TO COMMISSION
THREE NEWLY REHABILITATED ROADS IN ABIA STATE
The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR will on Monday February 26, 2024 commission another set of three roads rehabilitated by the administration of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR.
The roads to be commissioned are:
1. Omoba Road
2. Jubilee Road
3. Queens Street
Unarguably, this is Mr President’s first commissioning of a road constructed by the current set of Governors in Nigeria. It equally marks the 9th road being commissioned in Aba since Dr Alex Otti, OFR took over the reigns of power in the State eight months ago.
This exercise is in addition to the commissioning of the Geometric Power Plant in Aba on Monday , February 26th by Mr. President; a power plant that will provide uninterrupted power supply to Aba and its environs.
While the government and people of Abia State welcome Mr. President to Abia State, particularly, the Enyimba city; the hub of commerce and entrepreneurship in Nigeria ,nay Africa, we enjoin citizens and Aba residents to troup out en masse to witness the epoch making events.
Signed:
Prince Okey Kanu
Honourable Commissioner for Information and Culture.
