“Rich getting richer” – Outrage as Funke Akindele receives brand new car gift

The prominent Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele causes a buzz on social media after receiving a surprise gift of a brand new car at her event.

On Wednesday night, an event dubbed “A Toast To Funke Akindele” was held to honour the actress’s remarkable achievement of grossing over a billion in Cinemas.

The celebration, in collaboration with GAC Motor Nigeria and FilmOne Entertainment, gathered a star-studded guest list including Iyabo Ojo, Eniola Ajao, Sola Sobowale, Taaooma, Bisola Aiyeola, Groovy, Timini, Diadem, Adunni Ade, Yvonne Jegede, Simi Drey, Kehinde Bankole, Omowunmi Dada, the cast of “A Tr!be Called Judah,” and many others.

The highlight of the event came when Funke Akindele was surprised with a brand-new car courtesy of GAC Motor, adding to the excitement of the evening.

The car gift, however, came with condemnation from social media users who argued that a billionaire who can afford a car does not deserve such.
