RIVERS STATE LIAISON OFFICERS THROW SUPPORT FOR GOVERNOR SIM FUBARA.

Some group of persons under the auspices of the Local government liaison officers has thrown their support on the executive governor of rivers state, His Excellency, Sir Siminialayi Fubara.

The group made this known when they paid a courtesy/solidarity visit to one of her member, Prince Isaac Umejuru who was newly appointed into the state executive council in the capacity of a commissioner.

The group which comprises of the twenty three local government areas of the state were represented by some members who were led by Comrade Neka Sam.
Neka in his remark, said they are here to congratulate the honourable commissioner and to express their unreserved support for the governor of the state and let them know of their readiness to work with him at various levels aimed at delivery of good governance to rivers people.

Comrade Neka on behalf of the group also reiterated their support on the speaker of the rivers state house of assembly, Rt. Hon. Edison Ogerenye Ehie, expressing that his emergence is indeed an indication that rivers people are truly blessed.

In his response, the honourable commissioner, thanked them and expressed so much joy, seeing them come to support him and his principal, the executive governor of rivers state, His Excellency, Sir Siminialayi Fubara and also the speaker of rivers state house of assembly, Rt. Hon Ehie Edison.

Umejuru admonished them to remain steadfast in their support for the executive governor as he has come to deliver the dividend of democracy to the people of rivers state.
