Subject: Urgent Request: Non-Crediting of Euro Payment to Account Since March 25th
Dear Guaranty Trust Bank Customer Service,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to address a pressing issue regarding the non-crediting of funds into my brother’s account with Guaranty Trust Bank. On March 25th, a Euro payment was supposed to be credited to my brother’s account from Ireland. However, despite the confirmation from the sender’s bank that the payment was received by Guaranty Trust Bank, the funds have not been credited to his account.
My brother has visited your Umuahia branch, where he was informed that no such payment was recorded. Moreover, I have personally reached out to the sender, who has verified with their bank that the payment was indeed received by Guaranty Trust Bank.
It is concerning that despite multiple emails sent to your customer service over the past month, there has been no resolution to this issue. The delay in crediting the funds is causing undue financial strain and inconvenience.
Furthermore, it is evident that Guaranty Trust Bank works in collaboration with UK banks, as indicated by the UK IP associated with the account opened for my brother. Therefore, it is reasonable to expect swift action to credit the funds to my account, given that your UK bank partner has already received the payment.
I kindly request Guaranty Trust Bank to prioritize this matter and promptly credit the Euro payment to my account. Your immediate attention and resolution to this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
