THE END OF DAYS
CHAPTER 11 (THE TRIBULATION SAINT GROUP)
I wanted to go home direct but on a second thought, I decided to go to a quiet place and think about why the only remaining humans I love believe the disappearance to be RAPTURE and not alien invasion.
I sat down on a culvet, not too far away from Abel’s house. I thought about my life, the current world, my mother, my kid sister, my father and Abel.
Are they right about the rapture? About the Bible? About the Jesus thing? What if they are wrong?
For the first time in forever, I looked up to the sky and tears began to roll down my cheeks as I ask the God of heaven to help me, to show me the right way to follow, to give me a sign that my dad and Abel are right.
Immediately I began to feel a leading to attend the church service my dad went to but before I walk to the church, they would have closed.
“Oh, I forgot! My dad had paid the cab man to also take me back home and the cab man had given me his number”
And so, I called him.
On getting to the entrance of the church, I could feel that the whole place was filled up already and I was perplexed.
I gently entered and was lucky to find a seat close to the main entrance. My father wasn’t within my sight as I continued rotating my head like an owl.
“Brethren, little by little, we are getting to know the characters in the new world that we’ve found ourselves. I’ve been noticing a lot of situations that keeps happening globally and I am very certain that the prophecies around the end time are gradually coming to pass.
With all of that in mind, I made sure I fervently pray to God to help us understand the new world we are living in now.
Please I beg you all, don’t give in to the demands of this world. It will definitely be hard but we must face it. Is there any one who still believe that it was the aliens that were responsible for the disappearance of people? Please if there’s anyone, I would like to hear from you”
Nobody raised their hands. The whole place became quiet and then finally, I saw my dad. He turned and was looking at me as if to say ‘get up and explain yourself’
And then I began to think. What if there are people thinking like me? What if they are just shy due to the massive number of people? What if they don’t want to be seen as psychos?
“Well, thank God there’s none. The following people should see me after the service; Mr. James, Mr. Enoch and Mrs. Lizzy. Let’s pray”
That name was definitely my dad’s name but why does he wants to meet with my dad?
And then all of a sudden, I heard a very clear but still voice.
