YORÙBÁ IS THE MOST SPOKEN LANGUAGE OUTSIDE AFRICA CONTINENT.
Yoruba is the most spoken language outside Africa. It’s the language the gods accepted above all languages. Language that is selling most musicians worldwide. If you cannot speak Yoruba or sing in Yoruba, you’ll hardly be recognised. Biggest musicians in Africa are Yoruba speakers. The highest Grammy awards winners in Africa are Yoruba. Even the creator of Afrobeat is a Yoruba man. Music is deeply rooted in Yoruba culture.
Yoruba Language is spoken in Nigeria, Benin Republic, Togo, Sierra Leone and Cuba.
It is used by the Santeria religion in Cuba and the Candomble Religion in Brazil.
It has over 60 million speakers worldwide, making it the fourth most spoken indigenous language in Africa.
