AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT: HON. GEORGE RECEIVES BLUEPRINT FROM ADVISORY COMMITTEE MONTHS AFTER INAUGURATION
Following months of deliberation, consultation and research after their inauguration, the ASALGA Agricultural Development Advisory Committee has submitted its report to the Executive Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Onengiyeofori George, DSSRS, at his office in Buguma City yesterday.
Christened ‘Proposal on Agricultural Development Projects in Asari-Toru Local Government Area’ the Supervisor, Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Hon. Afiye Dappa, presented the comprehensive document to the Executive Chairman in the company of the Advisory Committee’s Secretary, Rev. Emmanuel D. Asawo, reiterating the thoroughness of work done and how holistic it is, assuring that the blueprint is capable of making the LGA an Agricultural hub among the riverine LGAs in Rivers State.
Receiving the document from the Committee, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Onengiyeofori George, DSSRS, appreciated the Committee’s efforts, expressing confidence in their ability and promised to immediately forward the document to appropriate administrative offices for immediate consideration, adoption and implementation.
