How I met my husband on Facebook — Simi
Nigerian sonorous singer Simi has opened up on how she met her husband, Adekunle Gold, on Facebook, saying ‘I never knew he was a singer as well.’ She also revealed her decision not to marry a singer
According to the singer, her husband reached out to her on Facebook, but she thought he was a fan as she didn’t reply to his message. Simi made these revelations while featuring in a live session on the ‘Tea With Tay’ podcast, which she posted on her Instagram page.
“I didn’t know my husband was singing when I met him because I already said I cannot marry a singer. I thought he was even a fan.
He used to do this ‘King of Photoshop’ that time’. “He sent me a message on Facebook but I never saw it nor did I reply”, she said.
Simi declared that her goal is to fight for women’s right to choose whatever they want to do, without being under duress or doing so out of fear.
“If you want to be the most submissive woman in the world, that’s your choice, or you want to be a slay mama, it’s all for you,” she added.
Simi, however, hinted that she will be dropping a new album sooner than later
