IMBIBE SPIRIT OF HARD WORK, GOOD MORALS, COMMISSIONER URGES OFFICERS

Staffers of Ogun State Ministry of Housing have been charged to imbibe the spirit of hard work and cultivate good morals in the discharge of their duties.

Commissioner for Housing, Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi, made the charge at the send-off programme organised by the Ministry, in honour of a retired Director, Arc. Sulaimon Oladipo and two others, Mrs. Rebecca Omobola Sodiya and Mr. Rahmoni Akinpelu.

Jagunmolu Omoniyi, who underscored the importance of being diligent and transparent in the Civil Service, appreciated the retired officers for their innovation, support and loyalty, praying for favour wherever they go after the retirement.

He enjoined officers to emulate their good work, to enable them to have a successful career.

In his remarks, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Engr. Muritala Adekunle, commended the dedication and excellent contributions of the retiring officers during their active service, particularly in the agency.

“Though dedication and passion for hard work of retiring officers have not only achieved remarkable success in their endeavours, but also fostered a culture of collaboration, innovation and mutual respect within the Ministry”, he said.

Responding on behalf of other retirees, Arc. Oladipo, expressed delight at the Ministry’s support towards their careers, promising to forever cherish the staff and management of the agency for the cordial relationship enjoyed while in service and prayed for continuous love and greater achievements in the Ministry.
